Weekend with the girls!

My best friends [since forever!] came out to visit Jordan, Harrison and me this for a long weekend this last week. Sara came from So-Cal and Melissa came from Nor-Cal and met me out here together! We last saw each other for my baby shower, so it actually hasn't been as long as usual that we manage to get all three of us together. I think before that it was Sara's wedding, but no matter how much time goes in between visits, when we get together it's like no time at all has passed.

We couldn't quite party like it's nineteen ninety nine because little Harrison tagged along with us everywhere we went; but we found some fun stroller friendly ways to spend our time.

We went out to Heber and had a picnic. While we were out picnicing in the park some little  twerps  kids came over near where we were while I was changing H and the little girls were staring at his baby parts! I just stared back at them and did that thing where you put your fingers to your eyes and then point at them so they know you see them... [know what I'm talking about?] and they still kept starting and whispering to each other! Little perverts!

Harrison wasn't having a great day so we had to get on the move, we walked around town [it's a small quaint little town] and shopped at some little thrift shops and then got ice cream at Dairy Keen. I finally tried the orange creme swirl ice cream cone, mmmm!

After ice cream we decided head down the canyon and go check out Bridal Veil Falls... so not worth it!    Ha ha. The waterfall were so empty! Not even any little pond where we could cool down our little tootsies. We had a nice walk up to the bottom of the falls though and it gave us lots of time for 'Girl Talk!'

Friday, Harrison and I let aunties sleep in! [Not Mama though! Ugh.] We hung out at home while Miss and Sara just fawned over H.

Harrison making faces at Auntie Missa while Mama showered...

...and napping with Auntie Sara while Mama got ready.
[I even had time to put on make-up, that almost never happens. Thanks girls!]

Friday afternoon I took the girls to see beautiful Temple Square.
The grounds are so pretty; we wandered around and stopped in the Visitors Centers too.
We met Jordan for dinner at Malawi's so Melissa and Sara could see where I work and I could show off Harrison.

Saturday, Jordan took H for the day while us girls hit the mall for a little retail therapy!

Jordan also stayed with Harrison while we had GIRLS NIGHT!
My friend, Kelsey, suggested this great sushi place, Rice... which happened to be on "Kelsey Avenue!" I indulged in sush'aaaaay for the first time in over 9 months. YUM!

The girls had to leave on Sunday, but woke up early-early [9:00, haha] to go to church with us. Harrison was staring at Melissa all throughout church. She said he must have been in total shock that she was actually caught in church!
[PS. don't ask why my face looks like this... long night, early morning!]

We all squeezed in the car to take Aunt Sara and Aunt Miss back to the airport. Vacations are never long enough, but we hope they'll make lots more excuses to come visit now that little baby is here!

Love it! So glad they made it out to see you guys. I wish i could :-/ Its been far too long, and with having Harrison now, it is probably unlikely y'all will be making a trip to NorCal any time soon. Boo.

well steph, you just have to give us an excuse... wedding bells!?! haha. or a baby shower should be a good enough reason to make the trek out there!
